LITTLE PEOPLE

Emily's favorite hobby is playing with Little People and my new thing is collecting them and seeing how many I can find. This weekend we both got lucky when I came across a house, train, and zoo at a yard sale. All in perfect condition. We now own a bus, tractor, garbage truck, a convertible, and 2 suv's. A house with a garden, a playground, a pop up camper, a barn, a train and a zoo. We have a lot of accessories and 20 people! I am still on the search for more.

Last night we had Papa Jack, MawMaw Trish, Uncle Jason and Aunt Shane over for dinner. Jasons birthday was this week, so we had cake for dessert. Since Emily's birthday in April, every time we have cake or cupcakes, she feels it is her day and enjoys being sang to. This time I decided to throw in a candle. I believe from now on, I need to be honest with her because when her birthday comes around next year... it will be just another day for her! We had a great evening, and Emily even got to see Bea.

Our Little Helper

Laura and the boys came up to visit on Wednesday. We took the kids to the park and had a really nice time. Emily is all into helping cook, so she fixed her and Caleb some vanilla pudding. Everytime I am trying to cook, she pulls up a chair and says"help too". She also likes to help Todd pick veggies in the garden.

NOTHING

NOthing much going on this past week. Just trying to stay cool. Here is a bird that has built his nest in our paper box. He doesn't seem to mind us disturbing him each day. Todd's garden is doing great! We now have tomatoes, cukes and squash. Emily is doing good, getting smarter and smarter each day. Amazing how fast she catches on.

OUR WEEKEND

THis weekend is the start to Todds vacation. Today Laura, Lee, Caleb and Graysen came up for a cookout. We all had a great time, and Laura bought the best strawberries I have ever ate! We ended this evening by going to the park. Tomorrow, Todd and I are spending our morning at the DMV getting new drivers license! Emily will be at Papa Jack and MawMaw Trish's. Emily was in a much, much better mood this weekend than last.
