WV TRIP

Emily and I spend 5 days in WV to celebrate my moms birthday. On Friday Night Nancy, Matt, Shawn and I took mom to the outdoor drama and we all had a nice time. Peg and Dad stayed home and watched Emily. They too had an exciting evening, playing with Peg's new puppy "Molly".

Saturday we had a picninc at the park to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. I tried to make a cake in the shape of a sunflower which looked like a disaster! Emily enjoyed the party hat, and of course the cake. Mom enjoyed riding Tys bike and playing with Emily and Bryana.

On Sunday, Nancy and Bryana came and spent the afternoon with us. Emily and Bry enjoyed playing with their Little People and eating Happy Meals. Oh yeah, there was a fight or two which we let them handle themselves!

Monday, Emily was a farm girl and helped Maw Maw pick apples and dug some potatoes out of the garden with Paw-Paw. She then enjoyed spraying her Maw-Maw with the garden hose.

We can't wait to go back!

Caleb and Emily

Today Caleb came and stayed with us for a while so Laura could take Graysen to a doctors appointment. We had alot of fun. They love to run and chase each other with the shopping cart and the baby stroller. Emily hated to see him leave.

Birthday Party

Emily went to a birthday party this evening. It was for her cousin Luke who is seven. It was at the gym and she loved running wild and chasing the older kids (they paid no attention to her by the way). She probably would have enjoyed it much better had her mom let her wear something other than a cute dress and sandals.

Afraid

Well, since running into the bushes on her 4 wheeler, she is afraid to get back on it. She did set on it for a couple of minutes, but she won't ride it. I guess it will take some time. These are some pictures we have taken this week.

4 wheeler

Emily got a 4 wheeler today! It is a pre-owned 4 wheeler as most of her toys are. Todd and I are very excited because we got a very good deal on it. I think it may take a few days for her to get use to it.

CowGirl Emily

Not much going on here this past week. Emily got a stick horse and has been playing cowgirl. She is still learning to peepee in the potty. Today was a good day, no accidents!

Just wanted to tell everyone, all two people that read my blog, how proud I am of Peg. She lost SEVEN pounds this week at weight watchers.
Way to go Peg?!?!? I am really proud of you.

Mawmaw, Pawpaw and Peg

On Monday, my mom, dad and Peg came to stay a couple of days with us. Emily had a blast as usual. They weren't impressed with the 100 degree temperatures, however we did make it to the park one evening and then had icecream afterwards. Emily was sad to see them go, but perked up quickly when she got to go to McDonalds with Caleb.

This is Emily and George taking a bath. George was a gift from Aunt Debbie several months ago. We almost lost George tonight,his arm fell off!! Luckily, I was able to reattach it and all is well. I just noticed, Emily's eyes are not opened in these pictures, and I don't know why?
