Happy St Patricks Day

This is Emily in her new "green" outfit. She wasn't too thrilled this morning getting ready for school and didn't want to wear a green outfit. She wanted to wear purple. She was more excited when I told her she got to take green jello and have a party. Although, when we arrived at school and someone commented on her outfit she said "it's not green, it' purple." That's my girl!

Snow Storm 2009

YEAH!! We finally got some snow at our house. It started snowing on Sunday night and we ended up with about 4 inches. We lost electricity for about 6 hours. We are very fortunate that we got our power back on that quickly, the news reported that the rest of the county should be restored no later than this evening. Preschool has been cancelled all week, which has worked out well since Emily has been sick since Friday.(Sick Again!! I am ready to scream! I am so glad Spring is almost here, so maybe the germs will stop attacking her!) We have made two trips to the Doctors office and finally last night her fever broke after 5 days. She has a sinus infection which has been harder on her this time than last. She did get to enjoy the snow for a while on Monday. I think I enjoyed being out there more than Todd and Emily.
Todd had his ear surgery on Friday. He recovered very quickly and will return to his Doctor on Friday to see if his hearing is any better. We are ready for Spring to get her so we can enjoy some outside activities. We are in the process of getting a camping trip organized and I am so ready for our beach trip in June. I think Emily will love the sand and ocean so much.
